Hey all,
Been realising that when I do my grocery shopping, I don’t do a good enough job at getting snacks for the pantry. Decided to get a few things I know I enjoy, but I want to experiment with things I know that are made here a little more.
What are some solid snacks made here that you recommend, specifically ones without chocolate, as I am trying to avoid anything with chocolate for ethical reasons.
Thanks in advance.
It takes a moment of work but I mean just a moment. I suggest you grab some unsalted bulk nuts, and roast them yourself at a low temperature. They are unbelievably good, like surprisingly amazing.
I’ll let some people have some just as a friendly gift, and then they demand to know where I got them, for they are the most flavorful nuts they’ve ever had.
Like I’m talking the cheapest bulk Barn nuts or raw almonds from Costco LOL
Quite hard if not impossible to find Canadian nuts though isn’t it?
The free-dumb convoy showed we actually have too many.
🤣 Edited to add: they make a terrible snack
