    The ITU can’t do anything about it as far as I understand so it’s a bit of a pointless regulation

      Only thing I could see happening is a civil suit from a company licensed to use the ground to satellite frequency who experienced unwanted interference. Not sure if they’d have to prove actual damages or be allowed to just seek punitive damages, ianal

        I guess it depends what legal system they go through, I assume it’d be the US where you need to be able to sue for anything
