Today’s game is Undertale. I’m sure everyone and their mother knows this game so i’m not going to go too in depth about it. I had originally picked up and dropped this game so many times though. Growing up i watched a playthrough and kind of spoiled it for myself, so i figured “Hey, i know like everything about this game. I don’t really need to play it”. So i never did. I did pick it up though for 2 dollars, just in case. After playing OneShot though, it made me really want to give this another try, so i did.

I’m having a lot more fun than i had expected with this. I think it’s a combination of just age (so being able to appreciate some of the jokes) and time (so i don’t remember it as clearly).

I ended up naming myself Link as a stupid joke. I saw the name picker and it was a RPG and just couldn’t help myself. I wasn’t really sure what to pick to begin with so i figured “why not”.

The “combat” definitely lends itself to my enjoyment. I’m enjoying how diverse the Act options are. Trying to figure out which one to use is like a puzzle in itself. And reading context clues is a fun game for me (ironic considering i suck at it) so the game play has a lot to offer me despite already knowing the twists and such.

Anyways, so Undertale is my new “Currently Playing” game until i either get bored, burnt out, or suddenly hop tracks over to another game. All of which are likely for me to do. Still, i would like to stick with it.

If you like this one, Atticus, you should try out Deltarune eventually! It’s like Undertale, but much more refined. :)
I actually played Deltarune on launch when the first demo thing released. It was a fun experience. It does give the vibe though of being a lot more refined. Definitely takes everything he’s learned from Undertale and put it to use in Deltarune
I’m glad you liked it! It kept me going back for the next chapter every time a chapter did end. So good1 :)
