What’s your favourite Canadian sunscreen. I want a chemical one, not mineral. If the company sells lotions and sprays that’s a bonus

    I think you might like KineSys sunscreens - they have great waterproof sunscreens. I buy the spray, but I think they might have lotions too. They don’t sting like many other brands, so my kids don’t complain when using it

    Sounds like a post for marketing purposes. I prefer Japanese Bioré. It’s great stuff and not greasy.

        That’s fine. It just sounded like they were purposefully excluding many Canadian made products except for a very small niche someone is attempting to carve out.

      Yes, minerals are chemicals. In this case, it’s a marketing distinction between sunscreen that sits on the surface of the skin and blocks sun on the outside, and sunscreen that diffuses into the dermal cuticle before it can reach the living cells underneath. “Mineral” sunscreen is safer for sensitive skin, “chemical” sunscreen is more resistant to water and sweat.
