Today’s game is Twilight Princess, i finally got out of the water temple. Turns out i was way over thinking the whole dungeon. It didn’t occur to me to get a water flow by using the stairs. But once i figured that out it became a whole lot easier. I filled the center basin, hopped in, and kicked the bosses ass.

I liked that the boss was an evolution of OoT’s. A lot of the game’s legacy sometimes feels like a successor to OoT, sometimes it feels like it wears it a little too proudly, but this specific one i liked because it genuinely felt like an evolution of what OoT’s Water Temple boss fight was.

I think also the art style has grown on me a little more. It took a bit, and i still don’t care for the characters design wise. But the world? I really enjoy it. It has this design too it that the only way i can think to describe it is really soft yet hard.

Also, I’ve mentioned this before but the water in this game is great. It feels like a successor to OoT’s in the best way. I want to drink it. I want to lay in it. Anyways, water in this game? 10/10.

Anyways, i got to the Lost Woods (or whatever this game’s equivalent is). I got there and got through too the last stage of the Skull Kid fight, but got killed by those wooden puppet things before i could figure out what to do. It sent me back to the start of the woods so i decided that was a perfect chance to stop.

Are you playing on Dusk or on the real hardware? 🤓
Asking the real questions. Going to infer based on OPs posts that this isn’t the GC
I played this on the Wii back in the day. Now playing on Dusk, and all the levels are flipped horizontally. 😅 Such a weird discrepancy between the two platforms.
It’s entirely because Miyamoto thought that right-handed players would have their immersion broken if they swung their Wiimotes with their right hands only to see Link swing the sword with his left. Incidentally, this is also why SS and BotW have right-handed Links. Some bullshit lefty erasure, if you ask me.
