    It’s a yearly thing and will be untill there’s nothing left to burn. And we have a lot of forests, so that will take a while.

      Of course it is, why wouldn’t it be. Its not like we actually have to live on this planet fuck it, but hey as long as some capitalists get to make money before we all die.

          I thought that the capitalists were allowing the forests to burn because its cheaper than enforcing real environmental protections and harms their profits less

            “Allowing forests to burn??” There is an argument that climate warming is causing fires to be more frequent or severe, but they are going to happen no matter what we do, and it is not only beyond anyone’s power to do anything in Northern Ontario, it’s not a problem that needs a solution in the first place. Forest fires are part of the ecosystem. It’s like complaining that capitalists are letting rain happen.
