The US can take all of its threats and complaints and whining and bitching, and shove it right up their own asses. Canada has been dealing with US interference and bullshit since forever, and we’re all over it. No good deed goes unpunished when dealing with the US, bunch of narcissistic sociopaths…

Right now, there is insidious smoke invading Canada from both Oregon and Idaho in the US. What are you Americans gonna do about this vile smoke that’s invading Canada. Your president says that we’re liable so I guess that makes the US liable too.

    Edit forgot Idaho

Weather this week in Ontario Canada:

    Monday, Tuesday: Heat wave

    Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: Smoke

    Saturday: Tornadoes

Any Americans want to talk about Canada’s sovereignty, come here and try to take it from us. While you try, you can enjoy the the fucking weather you believe isn’t due to climate change.

Wtf? That’s all I really can say. Like what are they thinking? Do they actually believe what they’re saying? For their sake I almost hope they know what they are talking about, and doing it out of malice. If not, that’s horrifying the level of intelligence these individuals possess…

My interpretation: they’re so invested in this not being climate change that they grasp at any other interpretation. They’ve tied their political identities to climate change denial, so when something is obviously caused by climate change (i.e. forest fires blanketing a continent in smoke, which never happened for hundreds of years and is now happening repeatedly in a single decade), they instead decide that the problem must be “forest management” or some shit. They have to blame Canada so they can continue the fossil fuel grift.

Do it yourselves, it’s not our job to invade the USA every time its leadership gets too invested in huffing their own farts.

How about the US do something productive about climate change, instead of actively making the situation worse and then blaming other countries for the repercussions?

Cause doing something productive about forest fires would a hurt a poor oil company’s profits. We have to think about the oil companies! All oil companies defenseless and need to be coddled.

So they’ll only not invade us if we Canadians are suitably “responsible”? The same people who have done everything they can to promote fossil fuels, shut down climate science, defund and hinder climate action, spread misinformation, and persecute climate activists? Those insufferable world-destroying assholes are lecturing us about responsibility?

Never think the US fascists have given up on the idea of annexing Canada. Canadians need to keep up the boycotts of US goods, services and tourism. The Canadian government needs to keep planning to defend Canada from US invasion.

I chose to boycott for life. I will never back down.

Still some areas impossible to boycott though. Waiting for a good vehicle option that isnt either American or american-made foreign

Nah, it’s political posturing. The words are less than meaningless. The point is they’re building the synthetic casus belli. This shouldn’t be surprising or new information to you. If it is, we’re fucked.

Sounds like you agree that their threats to Canada are serious, even if the details are nonsense.

Then I don’t. Can you explain? I thought since a casus belli is a pretext for war, that you must agree the USA is threatening Canada. And I thought that by “synthetic casus belli” you would mean that they’re cooking up pretexts for hostility.
