Today, the Honourable Maninder Sidhu, Minister of International Trade, and His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), were in Toronto, Ontario, to welcome the successful conclusion of negotiations toward the Canada-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).
Sucks for them but we have to be practical, if we stopped trading with everyone because we don’t like what they do, we’d run out of trading partners. We are in a bind because of reliance on one overbearing partner who does all kinds of shit we don’t like. This is the world we live in.
