Keeping the bans in place also appears overwhelmingly popular across the country. Sixty-nine (*high five*) percent are in favour of the bans and the same majority say they won’t buy US booze even if the bans are lifted.

Quebec said they’re not going to lift the bans so far.
I mean, they can put it on the shelf, but you can’t force people to buy it.
Ontario Finance Minister Peter Bethlenfalvy said his government’s ‘resolve is firm’ to keep U.S. liquor off store shelves until it sees the details of a deal.
