Today’s game is some more Project Zomboid. I dedicated today to upgrading my forge and building weapons. I’ve been kind of collecting everything i need off and on in the background so thankfully I’m already mostly covered. I’m glad i made all those supply runs to the local houses and have been marking them of one by one as it’s built up a nice reserve of supplies to get my level up.

The first weapon i built was a small knife. Nothing crazy, but i thought our group chef could make good use of it. Or at the very least use it as a weapon.

After that i wanted to build a mace for Cable. It turned out to be way more of a setup than i expected. I had to build an advanced forge first, which while i had the supplies for i was a level short and needed to haul them all up there. After that i needed a Metalworking punch, which i also needed to track down. Finally after all that… I needed a handle which i forgot to grab. I went and stole one from another tool we weren’t using.

The result was this Mace i made for cable.

I went ahead and delivered it too Cable, along with a book on growing Hemp just for the resident pothead that i found for him. Left them both right on the bed for him to find next time he’s on.

After that i went to go check on the Chickens because I’ve been a little worried ever since we lost the chick. Thankfully they’re all fine though, and they even laid some eggs which i went ahead and harvested.

Today was mostly a nice little break from Control. I hit a road block I’ve been struggling with and so this gave me a much needed break.
