Today’s game is some more Pokemon Platinum. I’ve crawled my way all the way to the 7th gym today and stopped there. I spent a lot of time though working on filling out the Pokédex. There’s a ton of evolutions I can nab currently for the Dex that I’ve been training. I got some friends to play back to back with me so this really works out great as it gives them time to catch up to me.
On the subject of the main screenshot. When checking out the lake it got a a giggle out of me because all the Magikcarp flopping around. I really liked this one region where they were all clustered up. Like. Horrible that it happened to them but also really funny.
One thing I’ve noticed I like about Gen 4 is the Professor. Not to shit on the other ones but I really like him because he feels involved in what’s going on. I feel like all the others only really show up every once in a while. Meanwhile here we see him like out and about in the events of the story and stuff. Like when he went to see what happens at the lake.
Anyways. I’m at the snow gym now. Not a lot besides that has happened. I’ll probably spend tomorrow farming Pokemon for my Pokédex though. It’ll be nice to have them for my Dex ahead of time so I have less to farm post game.

Day 001
What game is this? I’m not a big RPG guy (Pokemon is the only traditional RPG I really play). I was going to take a guess Golden Sun or Chronotrigger but I don’t know enough to know whether either of those got a 3DS Remaster
I never played it on DS. How is it and what is the second screen used for?
It’s easily the best port, way better than the PS1, PC or Mobile version. New game+, it has two extra “chapters/features” (they are okay-ish) and the original graphics remain intact, with minor improvements.
As for the second screen, it is used to display the map, stats, and menus while not in battle, and used for commands whilst in battle (thus freeing up the entire top screen for animations)
I never got around to playing any of the Fire Emblem games and I wanted to bust out my 3DS again, so I started with Awakening. Its been a lot of fun so far.
Damn. I saw the picture first and got really excited thinking it was fates. I’ve heard good things about awakening but my SD Card got corrupted when I was playing it and I lost all motivation to play it. If it’s anything like fates though (or better from what I hear) it’s a really good time
