When my husband (a chef) and I (a decades long homecook) combined our kitchens when moving in together, It was magical.

I recently bought earplugs to avoid being bothered by loud sounds and they work so well. I also use them while I sleep and I feel a big improvement in my rest.

Got a dog. Unconditional love, forced me to go walking in the fresh air twice a day.
The most basic advice doctors give is the most proficient: Sleep well, eat well, exercise regularly (not necessarily sports as that often damages joints), work on healthy relationships. Don’t drink, don’t smoke.
If you take that advice your quality of life will improve immensely. Just strive for it until it’s good habits.

I quit Facebook in 2016. I got banned from Reddit last year. Both turned out to be big wins.
I lost 160 pounds over several years. I am looking forward to not dying as soon.

Getting to know who I actually am and what I actually want, and deliberately creating my life. Part of this was learning how I learn and work best.
Stopped listening to doctors and figured out by myself what’s wrong with me. It wasn’t GERD and the medication doctors made me eat, in increasing amouts, didn’t do shit. It was vagus-nerve oversensitivity and allergic reaction to uncooked allium family plants that caused an irritation in my esophagus.
it took decades, because allium allergy was really hard to spot and was skipped in all previous allergy screenings.
Second was degoogling myself. Ubuntu Touch in my phone is somewhat “work in progress” and rough around the edges, but I haven’t seen a single add in weeks.
