She’s 100% correct here, I’ve seen it myself in discussions here on Lemmy too. Any criticisms of Carney and his policies are met with accusations of American support by people who appear to view politics like a zero-sum game.
I know. Whenever I criticize Carney, I get told I’m a conservative fascist, as if the Conservative party was the only other option. I’m a member of the NDP for crying out loud. Carney is a small ‘c’ conservative and a lot of the policies he puts in place, or intends to, are damaging for Canada, and especially it’s environment and working class. But noooo. You can’t criticize the man because apparently he’s the only saviour to conservatives?

I forgot to mention one of his mps is pushing for surveillance bill c-22.
Originally Bill C-2, which was defeated, so now they’re trying Bill C-22 and are trying to bypass the process. They did it immediately, too.

Both parties are the same. Carney has taken lots if conservative policies as his own. We had no choice but conservative last election.
