A separatist party narrowly won Quebec’s election on Monday, a result that could make it tougher for Prime Minister Mark Carney to maintain national unity against U.S. President Donald Trump. Provisional results showed the province of 9 million had opted for the Parti Quebecois of Paul St-Pierre Plamondon, which is promising to hold a referendum on breaking from Canada once Trump leaves office.

They got a Minority government and as things stand, history rhymes and all that, if this tool was to attempt what his predecessor attempted by calling a snap election to get a majority they will loose it all again.

PQ have to team up with QS in order probably to pass most things whilst in power and Liberals/Cons are pretty much against any referendum.

Just the failure of a shit news rag sowing the usual bullshit to get clicks by dragging up the sovereignty crap that Quebecers have time and again told those the bring it up and call early shit elections on to jog on.

So of a province of 9million under 2 million voted PQ, the rest split across libs, cons and QS in that order.

let’s see if they last longer than 2 years 👍

If anything this a giant middle finger to the CAQ who promised big and welched on just about everything they promised to deliver. The CAQ deserved the resounding kick to the balls.
