Another extremist BC Conservative candidate.

David Williams shared a map of Western Canada as “a protectorate of the United States.” Lorne Doerkson kept him on the ballot.

He’s not the only one. Throughout this campaign, Lorne Doerkson has let candidates with extreme, hateful and harmful views stay on the ballot. That includes his campaign director, who posted “F*** Islam.” More than 30 Muslim organizations have called on Doerkson to remove her. He hasn’t.

  2. Heather Maahs: called gay people immoral
  3. Sheldon Clare: said local politicians “need hanging”
  4. John Henderson: brought a residential school denial book into Sechelt’s municipal hall
  5. Anna Kindy: said it’s better to get sick than get vaccinated
  6. Tony Luck: said health care will “take the brunt” of cuts
  7. Kristina Loewen: compared pandemic rules to the Holocaust
  8. Steve Kooner: called inclusive education “garbage perverted ideology”
  9. Jody Toor: presented herself as a medical doctor. She isn’t one.
  10. Ward Stamer: wants American booze back on B.C. shelves
  11. Harman Bhangu: said antifa dressed as Trump supporters stormed the Capitol
  12. Sharon Hartwell: says Democrats stole the 2020 election from Trump
  13. Bryan Tepper: called Jan. 6 a “lie”
  14. David Williams: shared a map of Western Canada as a U.S. protectorate
  15. Bruce Banman: needs “more information” on whether climate change is real
  16. Dave Johnston: called climate warnings “fear mongering propaganda”
  17. Lawrence Mok: blamed B.C. for Trump’s tariffs
  18. Macklin McCall: criticized police for responding to an illegal protest
  19. Doerkson’s campaign director: posted “F*** Islam”

Election Day is tomorrow, Saturday, Oct 24. Use your vote to say NO to extremism, hate and chaos. Vote BC NDP.

    We need to rip out FPTP across all provincial and federal elections. This would help to build better representation of Canadians than just: the current member sucks, so let’s pile into this other candidate who sucks even worse but isn’t the current one.

      At least, in part, a desire to punish Eby for his stupidity in calling this election without any real plan or purpose.

      I think the human desire to punish others is a wierd emotion that we are not taught how to properly handle and that allows stupidity to be rewarded with even greater stupidity.

      A Conservative win fucks me over pretty badly… that said, Eby doesn’t deserve to be Premier any more, either.

        I hate how stupid it is that we did that. Sure it’s a stupid decision. But is it worth suffering for 4 fucking years to “punish” Eby? Fuck no. It’s stupid.

          Yeah. I agree.

          Cut off your nose to spite your face is not the way to operate, but unfortunately people are not very well skilled in not letting their emotions affect their judgement… and that’s a problem that is worsening under the influence of info-narcotic technologies because it makes us more easily controllable.

          Oh, sorry… that last thought is for the group that meets in in that old abandoned train station building near the bridge downtown.

        That is literally the Canadian way we never vote in a party wer vote out the current party. Has been that way for decades.
