    I was awake because I was on a flight. The in-flight entertainment system, which can show the local time at the “origin” (BC), was not updated for the change and incorrectly showed the fall-back.

      No, stay in permanent DST. This is the time when everyone else switches back to standard time.

      Yea, they finally stopped the stupid clock changing ritual out west.

      UTC -7 Pacific time zone permanent daylight in BC

      UTC minus 6 in Alberta & Saskatchewan

      UTC -5 in Manitoba.

      Northwestern Ontario is going the same time as Manitoba i think.

      Ontario is asking Quebec to work with them and drop the daylight savings altogether.

      @GuyDudeman
      We’re on permanent DST as of right now, so Vancouver BC is now 2 hours behind most of Ontario/Québec and the US east coast, whereas Seattle and Los Angeles are still 3 hrs behind as usual.

    I’m in Manitoba. I had to change all software-related devices this morning but not the non-software ones (microwave oven and stovetop).
