The Americans are helping us distance ourselves from them daily with tariffs. In 10 years will we even see American movies and other cultural media in Canada?
Sorry, I didn’t intend for my comment to be rude. I was trying to mean “fuck up” in a casual rather than aggressive meaning though I can see why it comes off differently. I.e. it was supposed to be a slightly less child friendly variant of “screw up” and more akin to the (basically nonexistant) rudeness of something like “wtf”.
Fair enough that they take turns, I didn’t think of that. Still, it would probably be smart to change this though they both are probably aware of this.
Who tf is still going to that shithole country?
My roommate because his lover is there. Insane risk I think, given she’s trans.
Won’t be long till they can seek asylum in Canada at the rate things are going
Not sure how much of an asylum that is in a decade given our close proximity and similar culture rot.

I do hope you’re right but I’m also planning for the worse outcome just in case.
Canada was one of the few countries to see LGBT acceptance increase.

His lover is trans, you could assume good faith you know instead of being so aggressive with language policing.
She does, they take turns.

Unless it’s their lover in the USA that is trans?
Yep.
There are more than he/him/his and she/her/hers pronouns. Maybe they use they/them/theirs or some other set of pronouns.
Wealthy boomers.
Some people don’t really have a choice because of their job. That’s in big part who the Nexus card is for.
There’s no way on gods green earth my company could convince me to go to Amerikkka. I’d quit same day. There is always a choice.
Me neither. I was asked earlier this year and I said hell no. I’m not setting foot there anytime soon.
