

I agree, but I don’t have much sympathy left. Software used to be something that was done, and you purchased it; maybe some security or compatibility patches if necessary. But now, companies release unfinished, buggy, tiny games, unfinished software and then continue to develop on the fly.
When I pay for software, it should work out of the box, I do not expect updates, in fact don’t really want them because they fuck with my workflow. Patches are acceptable, often necessary, but any additional content or features are a value add.
Then again, this gray beard of mine is getting a bit long…
Update- this is not about Peak, I know nothing of this game, more of a general complaint of the industry.



This, it’s purely moralistic fart sniffing. That and folks who can’t control themselves and blame the performers for being too tempting.
