I’m woefully obvious to what the laws or penalties are like for this sort of thing outside the US. My hunch would be that it’s unlikely they you would face any consequences. It’s too liquid a thing, with too many people to penalize, enforcement becomes unrealistic. However, if you want some reassurance, using a VPN is really all the opsec you need to protect yourself from state agencies.

Honestly, why be polite? She needs to get the message loud and clear, and preferably it ought to have the effect of discouraging her from attempting to repeat it with anybody else
