Today’s game is Halo. Specifically Halo 2. I originally had Ghost of Tsushima planned but for whatever reason my Bash script didn’t upload the pictures. Luckily I actually took these during an experiment with ReShade and Gamescope to take pictures that mimicked a DLSR. These are the “unedited” versions. Though for anyone curious this is the edited version of the other ones.

Speaking of Halo 2 Anniversary Multiplayer, this is the first major brush we’ve had. One of our players hasn’t been able to play it due to crashing for some reason. Recently he upgraded though and we’re good. Now I can finally offer my opinion on this.

This isn’t specific to Halo 2 but i really like how CTF doesn’t have a timer in the older games. It really lets you live in the level and feels like it’s almost its own space. It can drag out for a while and I love that.
What is specific to halo 2 is the vehicle selection for bloodline. Hornets are here now so a teammate can swoop in, grab you, airdrop you in and pick you up again. Is it broken? Probably. Fun as hell? Definitely. It made me feel like a spec-ops or something as I dropped in, took the flag and took off.

Ultimately this match lasted around 40 minutes of us just fucking around and making peace and war and everything in between. Now that this is really an option it makes me want to look at forge game modes. See what the community has come up with. That’s more of a tomorrow thing though I think.
Hey. You ever wonder why we’re here?
I appreciate this post because holding ps4 controllers for more than an hour gives me carpal tunnel. I think one of the best parts of playing vidya is the progress through the game, and I have found that watching others’ progress is interesting as well. This is just me figuring out the Twitch business model about fifteen years too late…
I love the PlayStation controllers but they’re way too small lol. I started to develop carpal tunnel from my PS3 one until I corrected my form.
I’ve wanted to go back and play Halo: MCC campaigns again, but for whatever reason, MCC doesnt allow dual-input. I have an Azeron I use cause of arthritis, which means I can’t use it, because I have a full second delay between a mouse input and the Azeron input. I could just use a controller, but like…I don’t wanna. Lol.
Maybe I’ll keep messing with it, see if I can figure it out next weekend. You have inspired me. Also, always love seeing these!
Fair enough lol. Carpal Tunnel runs in my family so I can relate a little to your issue. The lack of dual input has honestly been a bit of an issue for me too because I could have OBS bound to the DEL key to save the last 30 seconds. Then the moment I hit it, it locks up controls until it manages to switch back. Absolute nightmare when trying to play infection. I wish there was a way to bypass it. Maybe something with steam input. Idk
It’s a double edged sword, because it can be iffy with competitive games, but for those of us not playing comp…it’d be nice to have lol. Cheaters gonna cheat regardless.
