    Yeah, there’s your problem. People I know leave their phone at home and use a burner for US travel now.

      It isn’t even just burners. Even before everything got like it is now, I would get a US-based SIM/eSIM, because it was always cheaper than roaming with my Canadian plan.

      When did they start doing that though? This study is only comparing numbers from April 2025 to March 2026.

      Wouldn’t this mean they underestimate the number of people who are in the us from canada, rather than over estimate?
