You are just as aware as the rest of us that money puts people in power, and millenials don’t have much of that.
Milenials have money you know they are in mid 40s now youngest being 30. When people are talking about young generation not being able to afford houses they are not talking of millenials anymore. Probably last generation that had resinable chance of cheaper houses.
And if money is power GenX and millenials have some of the richest people in the world in their generation.
When are people going to wake the fuck up and realize it is not a generation thing but a wealth issue.

The Boomer voting bloc percentage was higher, which it was in 2025.

If the vote in the Millennial demographic was divided between the parties. The boomer vote was overwhelmingly LPC, which it was in 2025.
Many millennials don’t vote. Even though I do vote, I don’t see much value in it. The two main parties can just ratchet the populace with deceptions, money and scapegoats.
Canadian democracy is always catering to self interested voters, rather than the common good.
Boomers are some of the longest running offenders.

Not to mention population dispersion. Majority of Millennials live closer to urbanized areas (COVID allowed for remote work from rural areas, but that’s been shortlived), while boomers have been the reverse.
So when 3mil in an urban area get 2 MPs, but 1mil dispersed in the rurals get 5 seats - it’s not so much about millennials voting against their interest.

Where is that happening well not perfect our ridings seem pretty dispersed by population. Well I don’t know every riding obviously care to share done examples where 1 million people have 5 mos and 3 million have 1.
All of northern Ontario together is 1/3 of Toronto’s population, yet have more seats federally and provincially. And North Ontario population skews much older. This is a well documented and known issue in Canadian politics.
