Many years ago when CA was doing more of these bc of some border tiff, they tried to search my laptop running OpenStep/linux

OpenStep basically does nothing without a middle-click. It was pretty funny.

Install any flavour of Linux, FreeBSD, BSD, Unix, or hell DOS (all cli) and watch them struggle. You can show them how you are a savage and use vi for word processing, or more civilized and use nano. There are web browsers you can launch to search the web and if you want you can (re)install a GUI when you are past the point of being checked out if you so choose.

or more civilized and use nano

How DARE you, sir?? vi or death. Those are the choices.

(Jk, I don’t hold it against anyone to use nano)

It’s ma’am thank you very much! I will take death before I try using vi with any seriousness again! Nano for life. 🤣
