Not to worry! They’re passing a law now mandating that airbags are left out of cars by default. Anyone that wants them can easily get them. You just need to schedule an appointment with your dealer, they’ll inspect your car and maybe give you a permission slip, which you can then take to your local car toys who will then install airbags for you. You can then request reimbursement of the dealer and car toys fees from your manufacturer, however they are heavily incentivized to not pay.
You have this all wrong. It’s all about convenience …
The new business model in the automotive industry is subscription based, so you’ll have all the accessories and features available in your vehicle, including extra engine power, sun roof, heated seats, ABS, reversing camera and airbags, that you’ll have to pay a monthly fee for to actually use.
If the payment fails for any reason, the functionality is immediately disabled, regardless of the state of the car at the time, facilitated by the global tracking installed in your vehicle that also helps you with customised advertising on your dashboard due to the video and audio surveillance built into your AI powered modern miracle on wheels.
Mind you, customers “love” this so much that BMW stopped offering subscription based Apple CarPlay and heated seats … so perhaps not all is lost … yet.
