I feel like this would be more effective if it were held in the US. Maybe the Target parking lot in Amherst NY outside Buffalo where there are regularly still Ontario-plated vehicles every weekend. Target and Trader Joe’s evidently are more important than sovereignty for them.

But that would require Canadians to cross the border, and we aren’t doing that these days.

Looks like the content is locked behind a login, any way to make this visible without signing up?

I suppose not. Ehnow is a Canadian social network though, found on Tod Maffin’s unplug America site (which I don’t have the link to right now but just search for it) it’s not like you’d have to sign up for some Zuck Meta crap. I don’t even use social media normally but I sign up anyway to give the site one more user vs the 'murican sites.

Edit: I changed the link to a screenshot you that you won’t have to log in to see what this is.

It’s not a “link to a login wall” It’s an event. I guess EhNow (which is kinda like the Canadian version of something similar to twitter) doesn’t let you view it without an account. Bummer.

I’m, uh, curious. Protesting what? To who?

Like, I get that the American government has been exceptionally shitty, but I don’t see what a Canadian protest is gonna do about it.

I pray that we’ll return to being a reasonable neighbor asap. I promise we’re feeling it more than you are.

I don’t see what a Canadian protest is gonna do about it.

It reminds any Canadian still spending time or money in that shitstain of a country, that they are openly supporting fascism.

I hope to protest the belligerent, destructive foreign policy of the United States and make it clear to all concerned that in the opinion of the people of Canada, that the United States is an adversary, no longer an ally and not a country that can be trusted or taken at its word.

You sure got me. Are you also responsible for everything your government does?

I don’t pray for my government to do things, if that’s what you mean. I do things like vote, and protest when the big country next door threatens to make me part of the 51st state and constantly and relentlessly bullies and insults me.

You should read what they wrote. You’re protesting things you say you don’t like but then you say you protest people who agree with you. Pick a lane? Or maybe everyone is your enemy?

Violence is the only answer. If violence isnt working its because youre not using enough of it.

      Protesting does absolutely nothing.

I agree…but I would NEVER openly advocate for violence against the Americans on an open internet forum! I’m clutching my pearls with such shock and offence at the very idea! Oh no of course not we must ONLY protest and not get violent. And the Americans should certainly NOT get violent towards their government with their second amendment and all of their guns that they all have the right to and whatnot for basically the exact thing happening right now. Oh no how terrible that would be if they used all those precious guns of theirs to put a stop to the fascism. Certainly I would not advocate for violence like that oh no not me I am only posting about a protest.
